Calender Art/ Zebra

Something that challenged me was my calendar art. I did a zebra for my calendar art(but some people think its a cow.) It took me 4 practises to draw my zebra. It took me two days to get my amazing masterpiece finished..I made up different patterns to make my art look good. My favourite bit was making up the patterns. I learnt how to blend the dye in the background.

Rotation

I am learning about rotation ,I made a rotation star that has a square looking after it.It took me a long time to get it done. At first it took me a while to think of something to draw. I made it very colourful I did it pink,blue, red,yellow,orange and purple so I had to think carefully where the colours went so it was rotating. My rotation is in quaters.

Puti Puti

I am learning how art tells a story. I made a Puti Puti out of flax, i made it all by myself in one day I also made a mat out of flax. I made the mat for my art that tells a story about me. I took a piece of flax home to teach my mum to make a Puti Puti.she made a perfect Puti Puti,she used some silver flax to make her Puti Puti. We are having an art exhibition in the school hall and our art is going to be in the exhibition. I am so proud of my art. I can't wait to see all the other art in the exhibition.

Treehouse

This is my treehouse art and it is my personal best. I worked hard on my treehouse art. When we made our treehouse we gathered real sticks to make the ladder. It took five days to create a wonderful piece of art. I wrote about my art and I did a great start. It was really fun. Here is a great sentence from my writing Around the tall tree on the ground is soft silky grass that bunnies like to hop in. There is a magic staircase that comes down when you knock on the tree.
