Autumn

My Autumn
Everything has  changed, it's colder in the mornings, and we can’t go swimming anymore because of the temperature. I wear warmer clothes like thermals and jackets and I get the flu more often. I walk down the road to school each morning shuffling the leaves with my feet, red, orange, yellow, green, and brown, crunchy and soft. You look up at the trees and you see hardly any leaves because it's autumn. We don’t go outside, at home I now read be the fireplace wrapped up in long johns, it's my afternoon duty. I miss summer so much when we could do so much more. It's darker at night so we have to go to bed earlier I just read like normal. If I think it's cold now, well it's not even winter yet! Autumn is a strange thing, how do the leaves know when to fall and why does it get so cold?
