The book was good and, yes I read all of it and it is a true story. There are other books and they are a series and the one after flowers in the attic is petals on the wind, then if there be thorns and last seeds of yesterday. I discovered that Chris, Cathy, Carrie, and Cory were the flowers in the attic and then petals on the wind they are free and the petals are free as well and if there be thorns is them stumbling over their past and seeds of yesterday is where their children learn about their past and they grow up as well and Cathy has to try not to do what her mother (Corrine) did.
